About S.N.A.
The Sawtelle Neighborhood Association began as SaveSawtelle, a grassroots effort in response to the West Los Angeles Community Plan Update Draft of 2023 and the Citywide Housing Incentives Program. Housing was planned for our area contrary to fundamental planning and environmental justice principles that threatened to erase the cultural identity of our neighborhood.
Sawtelle Neighborhood Association helps the community know and understand what is going on with the City’s land use planning and housing inclusivity policies in our area. Sawtelle has a deep history and we LOVE it.
